Made in Taiwan, Claire Hsu is a multi-award-winning trilingual actress, whose last name could be pronounced in 7 different wrong ways.

Upon graduation, she landed a part in Lynn Ramsay’s Cannes-winning "You Were Never Really Here" and shared the screen with Oscar winner Joaquin Phoenix . That same year she became Disney’s live-action Mulan finalist, and was screen tested at Disney Studios. 

She recently appears in Universal Pictures' ‘‘Boogie’’, and Yangtze Repertory Theater and Gung Ho Project’s Obie-winning ‘‘Salesman之死’’, and is currently a proud teaching artist at Urban Stages, Manhattan Theater Club and Spellbound Theatre.

Claire’s best production is a little 3-year-old human girl! She and her family reside in Queens, NYC.
